Frost

Frost is inspired by northern climate and its impact on humans. Drawing landscapes of emotional maps, the six dancers coordinate and navigate their way on the surface of a frozen world. Physical interactions reflect an interplay between opposites - cold and hot, hard and tender, tamed and wild, isolated and related. Sounds from a playground of children appear as a warm comfort and a collective memory, in a journey of longing, survival and poetic distances.
