Undergrowth

Key roles and play with archetypes are in the center of this work's attempt to create an adaptation of a family, with seven diverse characters. In a seemingly homogenic atmosphere, we observe the tamed beside the wild, discovering a universe of 'civilized animals'. Borders between 'human' and all other living things get blurred and re-sharpened; when each of the individuals peel off layers of pretended gestures and affection. Observing the fragility under the surface of a cultural makeup, Undergrowth takes place in a domestic environment, reflecting on wildness, solitude and longing for connection.
