The Instrument
Frost
Inspired by northern geographies and their impact on humans, Frost draws landscapes as emotional maps; the six dancers coordinate and navigate their way on the surface of a frozen world. Physical interactions reflect an interplay between opposites; cold - hot, hard - tender, tamed - wild, isolated - connected. A playground of children appear as a warm comfort, a collective memory in a journey of longing and distances.
