Working to the live music of the band Trouble Penetrator, Shlomot is a unique take on music-movement relationships, featuring ten artists from eight different countries. Involving four dancers, saxophone, electronics, drums, keyboards and turntables, Shlomot is a half evening piece, part of the double bill “Input/Output” - a riot of sound, movement, music and imagery.

"...The sense of struggle finds an emotional correlation with the dark sounds and this is maintained throughout the work so that even the simple act of untying another person's shoelaces can appear sinister. Towards the end the musicians emerge from behind their instruments and lie on the floor, just like the dancers, in what feels like a rare act of support, but there is a subtle matching of visions between M. Carroll and Trouble Penetrator right up until a final unison dance to the funkiest music we've heard all night."
