The Needle is a collaborative work between The Instrument, choreographer Julyen Hamilton and bass player Miles Perkin. Since 2011 the piece devised and inhabited its own unique universe, provoking and examining interactions and relationships, concretely and abstractly. Acoustic environment, light and physicality confront the players, towards the forging of a powerful unfamiliar theatre that lives within and beyond the body and the mind.
